Dual sensors—one targeting hair temperature from the root to the ends, the other sensing ambient conditions.
The air then quickly switches between warm and cool automatically, keeping your scalp below 50°C and hair ends below 60°C.

  • 2. Test Method: Conducted in an environment with a temperature of 23 ± 1°C and humidity of 60 ± 5%. Human hair bundles were wetted with warm water then dried for 5 minutes with a hair dryer. After this process, the surface of the hair was observed with a scanning electron microscope.

  • 2. Test Method: Hair was washed in an environment with a temperature of 24 ± 1°C and humidity of 50 ± 5%, then dried for five minutes using a ReFa BEAUTECH DRYER BX W. Before and after the dryer treatment, bundles of the hair were wrapped around a cylinder, then photographed while light was shone on them.

By determining the temperature of your hair through Dual Sensing and preventing it from getting too hot, the dryer reduces the pigment destruction and dye runoff that heat damage causes1.

  • 1. The test was conducted in an environment maintained at 24 ± 1°C and 50 ± 5% humidity. Bundles of hair were bleached twice then dyed with a coloring agent. These were then dried for three minutes using a ReFa BEAUTECH DRYER BX W. Defining washing and drying to be one set, seven sets (equivalent to one week) of use were performed, then the hair surface was photographed.
