The auto shut-off function may be activating. The power will turn off automatically if no buttons are pressed for 60 seconds or longer while in standby mode.
The Double Sensing Program (automatic temperature adjustment function) controls the surface temperature of your hair to stay below approximately 50℃ when using the SCALP mode, and below approximately 60℃ when using the MOIST mode.
Use a towel (preferably a dark color close to your hair color) and direct the warm air onto it to check if the sensing function is working correctly.
[Steps to check]
(1) Turn on the power and press the mode button to select the LOW mode.
(2) Press the sensing button (SCALP, VOLUME UP, or MOIST to select any mode)
(3) Hold the dryer about 5-10 cm away from the towel, and move it in a circular motion to heat a wide area.
If the sensing indicator light changes from red to blue during the above process, the sensor is working correctly.
If the warm and cool air does not switch automatically when using the sensing mode, please contact MTG Customer Support.
