  • Test method: The test subjects washed the inner sides of their forearms with a facial cleanser and let them acclimatize at room temperature (23.0±1°C ) for 15 minutes. Their forearms were then showered with ReFa FINE BUBBLE DIA 90 Rain mode (temperature: 38 ± 1°C, flow rate: 5.5 ± 2.0 L/min) for 40 seconds, then the moisture content of the stratum corneum was measured.

  • Test method: After full-body washing, subjects were acclimated for 15 minutes in a room at 23 ± 1°C. After bathing for 5 minutes using the ReFa FINE BUBBLE DIA 90 in Rain mode (temperature: 38 ± 1°C, flow rate: 5.5 ± 2.0 L/min), the surface temperature of the skin was measured.

Ultrafine bubbles were measured using the NanoSightNS300 (FBIA-designated agency). For ReFa FINE BUBBLE DIA 120 (ultrapure water, Mist mode; measured 7 times on Sept. 13–14, 2023), the average number of bubbles was approx. 11 million, max. approx. 16 million (after subtracting the blank value); average diameter: 0.12 μm, mode: 0.10 μm. For ReFa FINE BUBBLE DIA 90 (ultrapure water, Mist mode; measured 7 times on Sept. 4, 2024), the average number of bubbles was approx. 18 million, max. 25 million (after subtracting the blank value); average diameter: 0.13 μm, mode: 0.16 μm. Microbubbles were measured using the SALD-7500 (FBIA-designated agency). For ReFa FINE BUBBLE DIA 120 (tap water, Rain mode; measured 25 times on Sept. 12 & 19, 2023), the average bubble count was approx. 3,600, max. 4,100; average diameter: 32 μm, mode: 28 μm. For ReFa FINE BUBBLE DIA 90 (tap water, Pure Rain mode; measured 25 times on Nov. 30, 2024), the average was approx. 2,600, max. 3,100; diameter: 35 μm (mode also 35 μm).
