(1) Section hair into strands about 5 cm wide. If the section is any thicker, it may be difficult to straighten.

(2) Place the section between the iron plates.

(3) Glide the iron slowly and steadily to the ends.

(4) Repeat steps 1–3 throughout, starting from the lower sections and working upward.
(5) Finish and set your style with hairstyling products such as such as hair cream or hair wax. The straightening effect will vary from person to person depending on the natural curl and texture of hair.
The following steps show how to create inward curls. For outward curls, rotate the straightener outward in step 3.

(1) Section hair into strands about 3 cm wide.

(2) Clamp where you want the curl to start. Slightly tilt the iron in the direction you will rotate it, then place the section between the iron plates.

(3) Rotate the iron inward, about half to one full turn.

(4) Repeat steps 1-3 on the rest of your hair, working from the bottom layer of each section to the top.
(5) Finish and set your style with hairstyling products such as hairspray or hair wax.
